| The images available from this website were taken
in Greece or the western coast of Turkey during the fall of
1993. They were shot with an Olympus OM-1 with varying lenses
and filters. All were handheld. They were shot on Kodak Kodachrome ASA 200 slide film. To obtain a digital image they
were scanned on a Minolta DiMage Scan Dual III AF-2840 slide scanner. Scanner features used were automatic dust removal and
pixel polish. All slides were scanned at 2840 dpi, which resulted in an image size of 4032 x 2688 pixels in JPG
format. The size of the files varies from 1.7 to 3.5 megs. Each slide was hand cleaned using a high-pressure
compressed air canister. No attempt to process the images further was made. |
